Biography and Business Background

In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Daniel oversees the day-to-day operations of Battaglia Group’s various business interests. Prior to joining the company in 2006, Daniel spent three years with CNL Financial Group in both real estate capital markets and acquisitions. Most recently he served as Director of Investments for CNL Income Properties, a REIT that acquired approximately $1 billion in real estate during his tenure. Prior to starting his career in real estate Daniel spent six years in the investment planning business, working for both Morgan Stanley and Charles Schwab.

Daniel attended the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, and later earned his MBA from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College. Daniel currently serves on the Winter Park Public Library’s Board of Trustees, and is a past President of the Board. He served as the 2013 Chair for the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and is an alumnus of Leadership Winter Park. In 2011, Daniel was appointed by Mayor Ken Bradley to serve on the Winter Park Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Advisory Board, where he currently serves as Chair. Daniel also served for 10 years on the Board of Directors for the Winter Park and Crosby YMCA Family Centers, and is a past Board Chair.

Daniel and his wife, Ansley, live in Winter Park with their three sons David, Will and Jacob.
